Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your name and email, the demographic / profile data you provide, a short verification video, the responses you give in studies, and with metadata, which is used for validation and quality measures.

How we use it

To match you to relevant studies, pay your incentives, verify you're a real participant, and improve the panel. Your identifiable personal information will never be shared without your express consent — we sometimes conduct interviews which require us to reach out to you directly, wherein we will be providing your name and contact information. When this occurs, you will be asked express permission for us to do so for each individual interview (not one time, but every time).

Who we share it with

Trusted processors that run the platform: our email providers, survey hosts, and our incentive / payout partner, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms. Data you provide for surveys and questions will be used by researchers collecting data, but in an anonymized form (unless express permission is requested and given to share additional personal information).

Your rights

You can request deletion of data at any time by reaching out to hi@getoneplusone.com.

Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above.
